Indonesia Hosts the World Rock Climbing Championships, Held in the SCBD Area

Indonesia has two mainstay athletes in the speed category, namely Veddriq Leonardo and Kiromal Katibin. Veddriq set a world record while competing in the international competition, IFSC Boulder World Cup 2021 in Salt Lake City, United States, Saturday (29/5/2021).

Veddriq Leonardo set this record in the final round, when he competed with fellow Indonesian rock climbing athlete, Kiromall Katibin. In the final round, Veddriq Leonardo recorded a time of 5.208 seconds and was crowned the champion of the men’s speed category at the 2021 IFSC Boulder World Cup.

Meanwhile, in 2022, Kiromal Katibin set a world record in his own name when competing in an international competition, the IFSC World Cup 2022 in Chamonix, France (8/7/2022) with a time of 5.00 seconds. Meanwhile, at The World Games in Birmingham, USA (15/7/2022), Indonesia managed to wipe out gold and silver in the men’s speed category.

Yenny invites all Indonesian citizens to attend and witness this prestigious world rock climbing tournament while providing maximum support for Indonesian national athletes who will fight in this tournament.

Of course, continued Yenny, the presence of supporters will be an additional energy for athletes who are somewhat able to provide the best results for Indonesia.
